Lions Club Alibag organized free eye check-up and cataract surgery camp on 27th July, 2025 A free eye check-up and cataract surgery camp was organized in collaboration with 'Shri Devendranath Nagari Sahakari Patsantha', Lions Club of Alibag and Lions Club of Murud as well as Alibag Lions Health Foundation at the Dongre Hall of the public library here. Under this, free treatment and surgery were also referred for eye diseases like lacrimal gland, lacrimation, and strabismus under the 'Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana. Alibag Lion President Pradeep Naik said that more than a hundred beneficiaries benefited from this camp.10 were referred for cataract surgery, 1 for retina surgery, 1 for strabismus surgery, and 25 eye patients were referred for various eye problems. The prominent attendees on this occasion included Alibag Lion President Pradeep Naik, Secretary Mahesh Kavale, Treasurer Amogh Kinjawdekar, Vijay Wanage, Murud Lion President Sunny Sogavkar, Treasurer Makarand Karnik, Devendranath Nagari Cooperative Credit society President and Directors, Lions Alibag Ramesh Dhanawade, Avinash Raul, Mahendra Patil, Nitin Shedge, Rohan Patil, Kalpesh Thale.
