His saga of service through simplicity, care and devotion is a role model to many. A devoted Lion from a very young age, he joined Lionism in the year 1993 as a member of Lions club of New Bombay Airoli. Starting as the Joint Secretary of the club, he was the President in the year 1997-98 and has held various positions in the District. 

Lion Sanjeev Suryavanshi has rendered exemplary and yeoman services in his Lionistic journey of three decades and has left his indelible mark on the various committees assigned to him in the District Cabinet. At the Club level he is instrumental in establishing the Trust and obtaining the FCRA certificate in the year 1997 and in 2007 respectively. His diligent efforts resulted in the establishment of the Medical & Diagnostic Centre in the year 2000, which is functioning extremely well. In the year 2007 he succeeded in obtaining LCIF grant of USD 25000 for upgradation of this Medical Centre. He has also been instrumental in partnering with Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College for starting the satellite Dental Clinic in Arioli.

During this lionistic journey of his he has effectively proven his administrative ability. As the Zone chairperson in the year1998-99, the Zone social he organized was well attended and appreciated. While he served as the District LEO advisor, he mentored Leo District President on club and membership growth. As the District Chairperson for Blood Collection in the year 2000-2001, & 2001-2002, he coordinated with Blood Banks and motivated clubs to organize blood donation camps . An incredible 5000 bottles of blood were collected during his Chairmanship.

As the Region person in the year 2002-2003, he mentored clubs on administrative matters and club excellence. MJFs were honored and 25 new members were inducted. Also Rs. 1 lakh donation was collected for Koparkhairene Medical Centre. The conference was well attended and organized in a grand manner at DAV school grounds Airoli.

As the District chairperson for Diabetes, in the years 2008-2009 & 2009-2010, he partnered with M/s  Abbot for organizing Diabetes screening camps and published a booklet Madhu Marga Darshika. Over 125 camps were held during this tenure . Also Sstrides- Walk for Diabetes was conducted at Vashi, Nerul, Chembur, Panvel, Roha and Shahapur. 

As District chairperson for Club Extension in 2010-11, and as Global Membership Coordinator in the year 2013-15& 2016-17, he worked extensively on the Extension and Membership portfolio. He was instrumental in extending a total of 31 clubs .

He organized the first ever Conclave involving GST,GMT and CEP, in the year 2013-14.He also received the best GMT Chairperson of the Multiple during the year 2013-14.He received the best GAT Coordinator of the Multiple award in the year 2019-20.He organized GAT conclave involving 9 chair persons, aptly coined as the G9 Conclave.

In the year 2017-18, he served as the Executive District Cabinet Secretary. As the GLT Coordinator in the year 2018- 19 , he organized 4 District Leadership Institutes, introduced creative topics and encouraged new in - house faculties. He received the Best Multiple GLT  Co-Ordinator Award. Being passionate and proficient in conducting leadership training sessions, he was the faculty at the Regional Leadership institute organized by the Multiple 3231 in the year 2021

As District Chairperson for CQI , he conducted 4 workshops involving Region Chairpersons, CQI assessments were digitalized for the first time. The slogan for the year was Nayi Disha- Nayi Umang – CQI ke sang.

As District Chairperson Schooling in the year 2021- 22, he organized schooling at Raddison, Karjat. Pre schooling lessons were also  sent to the club officers and the event was rightly named ADHYAN. As  Principal Officer GAT and Past President Honouring, in the year 2022-23, he jointly organized the Club Committee Chairperson Seminar and the Club Past President Conclave in a grand way . 

Lion Sanjeev Suryavanshi is trained at the Advance Leadership Institute and at the Faculty Development Institute of Lions International. 

Lion Sanjeev was elected to the position as Second Vice Governor in December 2022 .

An accomplished Supply chain professional, Lion Sanjeev commenced his professional journey with Jenson &Nicholson and has been associated with various Indian and Multi national Pharmaceutical companies. 

As a person he is down to earth, approachable, selfless, objective, and visionary. He is blessed with a beautiful family all devoted to Lionism. Spouse MJF Lion Kirti has served as a Teacher and Principal. Lovely daughters Leo-Lion Alolika is a double Post graduate with an MPharma degree and an MBA and Leo Radhika with Masters in Law has served as the Leo District president in the year 2019-20.

Lion Sanjeev M Suryavanshi has been a Beacon of light for the community as a dedicated Lion leader for the last three decades.
