Event Report: Bread & Butter Distribution Drive Organized by: Lions Club of Ulwe Gems In Association With: Lions Club of Kamothe Date: 19th July 2025 Location: Mansarovar Railway Station, Kamothe Total Beneficiaries: 98 --- Overview: As part of their ongoing commitment to serve the community, the Lions Club of Ulwe Gems, in collaboration with the Lions Club of Kamothe, conducted a Bread and Butter Distribution Drive at Mansarovar Railway Station, Kamothe on 19th July 2025. This small but impactful initiative aimed to offer fresh, ready-to-eat nourishment to daily commuters and underprivileged individuals at the station. --- Key Highlights: Total Beneficiaries: 98 individuals, including laborers, commuters, and homeless citizens. Distributed Items: Fresh bread slices with butter – hygienically packed and served. Conducted during early hours to ensure maximum reach and impact. Both clubs ensured clean, safe, and respectful distribution practices. --- Objective: To provide a nutritious snack to those who may not have access to a proper meal, especially in high-traffic public areas like railway stations, where many underprivileged individuals gather daily. --- Acknowledgment: Special thanks to: The members of both clubs for their enthusiastic participation. Local volunteers who helped with smooth coordination. The station authorities for their cooperation during the event. --- Impact: Addressed immediate hunger needs of nearly 100 individuals.
