The Lions Club of Panvel successfully organized a vibrant Patang Mahotsav on 24th January at Sai Nagar Ground, Panvel. The event was specially arranged for underprivileged children, where free kites and dora were distributed, spreading joy and उत्साह among children from nearby slum areas. The program was graced by esteemed Nagarsevikas (Corporators) Mohini Vikrant Patil, Mamata Mhatre, and Snehal Dhamale, whose presence added great value and encouragement to the event. Alongside the celebration, a Haldi-Kumkum program was conducted for ladies, promoting cultural bonding and traditions. The club also contributed towards social welfare by donating sugar for the benefit of the community. A special note of appreciation goes to Lion Mangala Thakur and Lion Pratima Chouhan for their dedicated efforts and excellent organization of this memorable event. The initiative beautifully reflected the Lions’ commitment to service, spreading happiness and strengthening community ties.
