Lion Raajesh Prajapati journey in leadership began with his tenure as a President of Juinagar in the year 1998-99. He became Chartered member of Lions Club of New Panvel in the year 2003.

He took up various important posts in the District including that of ZC and RC, DC- Service Centre for 4 terms, District Chairman for Youth Exchange, Meditation & Healing, Rural Development, Permanent Projects (Rural), Sight First and Joint Dist Cabinet Treasurer.

He was appointed as District Governor in the year 2010-11. During his tenure, Rs. 50 Lakh funds were distributed by the Senate Team for completing Permanent Projects. Lion Raajesh Prajapati organized Mid-Term Service week end in February 2011 by an innovative way of service projects being conducted on a continuous basis. District Award function was organized with Film & TV Celebrities participation with record attendance. He presented Bhagwadgita to all the Club Officers during his official visits and to visiting guest of the District. He appealed to LCI

and the District for collecting Rs. 16 Lakhs towards Japan Relief Project. He was a Multiple Committee Chairperson for PR & Publicity during which he organized a Mega Health Exhibition “Sanjeevani” at Thane through which more than 50,000 persons were made aware of Lionism and attracted 100 persons towards Lionism.

He is a Builder and Developer by profession and associated with various professional bodies like Arhatic Yoga Ashram Managing Trustee, Maharashtra Chamber of Housing Industry, Builders Association of Navi Mumbai, ISKCON Temple Development Committee, Navi Mumbai Chamber of Housing, Navi Mumbai Merchants Gymkhana, Prajapati Samaj in various capacities – Founder President, Trustee, President etc. He was awarded ‘Jewel of Navi Mumbai' by Indian Merchant Chambers.

He is happily married to MJF Lion Sunita and couple is blessed with two daughters – Tulika & Shrutika and Son Rishabh.
