Civil Engineer by Qualification & Builder by Profession, Lion Nandlal Rajpal is known for creating unique records. Lionism journey began by becoming Chartered President of Lions Club of Nerul with 108 Charter Members. During the DC-Cultural Committee, he motivated 2200 Lions, Lioness and Leos into participating in a Cultural Programme which was televised on Doordarshan. He created record of completing construction of 12000 sq. ft - 3 storied building of Lions Service Centre at Koperkhairne in a record time of 11 months. As Sight First Chairman, he holds the record of conducting 12000 Free Eye Checkup Camps and 12051 IOL operations. He was instrumental in organising a Twin Sight First programme with Sri Lankan Dist. 306-A, B & C. During his District Governorship, project of construction of 51 Borewells in Adivasi Village was carried out to help the villagers from hardship. He is a Music Lover, enjoys the Lyrics. He is also fond of writing poetry. He has received Life Time Achievement Award & Rs. 1,00,000/- Cash for Literature from Maharashtra Government. His spouse Lion Dr. Shashi Rajpal has taken up various positions in her Lionistic years including Lioness District President, Multiple Lioness District President and All India Lioness President. The couple is blessed with two Sons Dr. Akash and Engineer Deep.
